Once you have confirmed that all interfering processes have been stopped, you will use the following steps to start gathering information on available wireless networks:
- Create a directory for your results named wireless, and change your directory to it. This is where the output of the tools will be saved.
- From the command line, type the following:
root@kali:~/wireless# airodump-ng -w KaliCookbook_8.1 wlan0mon
