Time for action—new site wizard

During our initial installation, we configured the Kentico CMS WebProject to use the ASP.NET Development Server. Anytime we start the Kentico CMS project, it also starts the ASP.NET Development Server and assigns a URL in the format http://localhost:portnumber/KenticoCMS. In order to create a second running website, we will convert our existing application to IIS. Once this is completed, we can configure the new site using Site Manager. Using the following steps, we can create a new IIS application and then create a new e-commerce site.

  1. From the Start button on your Windows desktop, select Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
