About the authors

Julian Birkinshaw is Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School and Director of the Deloitte Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is the author of 12 books, including Reinventing Management and Becoming a Better Boss.

Ken Mark is CEO of The Martello Group and GM of Steribottle Inc. He was Finance Director at Diversified Resources International and worked for Procter & Gamble and Harvard Business School. He has written case studies for Harvard, Ivey Business School and the London Business School.
