In OpenAI's terms, you provide Input to ChatGPT, and it returns Output to you, creating Content. Here's what those terms mean:

• Input. This is what you provide to the Services supplied by OpenAI, L.L.C. and its affiliates. For ChatGPT, the input is your text prompts. OpenAI assumes that you own this input.
• Output. This is what OpenAI's services generate and return in response to your input. For ChatGPT, the output is text content. (For OpenAI's DALL-E image generator, the output is images.)
