Chapter 4Making Sense of What You’ve Found

In previous chapters, we’ve focused on the research phase of our UX framework. This has concentrated on understanding the business problem (in Chapter 2) and user context (in Chapter 3), so that you may use this information to direct your project work. It’s important to consider human needs early on in your design life cycle, so that you can transform these ideas into new products or design features. Allowing proper time for analysis and synthesis of your research is the significant step between research and design, and this is what we’ll cover in this chapter: the insights phase, illustrated in Figure 4.1.
