Value is the assigned measure of worth that you appropriate to a subject, be it an idea, product, person, animal, or any other item you encounter. Value is largely intangible and in the eye and mind of the beholder. Something that is valuable to one might mean nothing to another. What is valuable to a company is one thing; what is valuable to you as a whole being might be something completely different. Values are flexible as priorities change over time, as you mature and learn from experience, and in response to people and events over which you have no control.
