How it works...

After we ensure that the source instance is in a running state in step 1, we transfer the image file to the destination file, in the exact same location as the source in step 3. With the image file in place, we can now perform a live migration, which we do in step 4 and then back in step 5.

The two new parameters we haven't used so far are --copy-storage-all and copy-storage-inc. The first one instructs libvirt to transfer the entire image file to the destination, whereas the second performs an incremental transfer, copying only the data that has changed, reducing the transfer time.
