Every job book says to never badmouth a previous employer. Hearing a candidate griping about the place they just left leaves an interviewer wondering what she’ll be like once she’s joined the team.
That’s good advice, but it’s not enough. You must be unfailingly positive in all your dealings.
Nobody likes a complainer, except for people who are no fun to work with anyway. People who complain are like Debbie Downer from Saturday Night Live, who always has something negative to say, no matter the topic.
