When you process your rental applications properly, you will be able to see exactly what your rental unit will look like six months in the future.

For starters, there are two basic methods involving the rental application.

  1. FACE to FACE when you are present with the applicant.
  2. ONLINE where there is no face to face. (I like this one better.)

There are two separate distinct ways for you to handle these properly to CYA (protect your butt). Both methods have their dos and don'ts and we will get the “how to do each of them” later in this chapter. But first, some basics to know before you pull the trigger. Let's avoid Fire, Ready, Aim!
