This chapter is a collection of beam control and other laser-related practical solutions. All of these have been or are being used in laser-use areas today. Regardless of how good an idea they may be, the human element can defeat them. This is why an appreciation and genuine desire for laser safety is required on the behalf of the laser user.

The best safety systems are the simple ones. Simple can be depended on and is usually inexpensive. The rest of this chapter is images of simple and real laser safety solutions. They may be useful in a setting you know or give you an idea of how you can do things.
