The Hispanic population in the United States topped 56 million in July 2015, making up nearly 18% of the United States population and representing the largest ethnic minority group in the country.1 An increasing number of this growing demographic are U.S. born,2 and roughly 60% are bilingual.3 And they are younger than their non-Hispanic counterparts.
