The presence of Hispanic communities in the United States is only increasing, expected to encompass 20% of the U.S. population by the year 2020.1 According to Alcance Media Group, Hispanics in the U.S. have an annual purchasing power of $1.5 trillion, meaning that an increasing number of broadcasters, marketers, and advertisers are focusing their attention on the U.S. Hispanic market.2 In short, being able to reach Hispanic audiences through media is an increasingly valuable asset.
