Acculturation	Cultural modification of an individual, group, or people by adapting to or borrowing traits from another culture.
Adaptation-Standardization	The process of making things of the same type have the same basic features.
Affiliates	Local broadcast stations with an agreement to carry network programming exclusively.
Anglo-American Society	North Americans whose native language is English, especially those whose culture or ethnic background is of European origin.
App	Short for application. A program (such as a word processor or a spreadsheet) that performs a particular task or set of tasks.
Appropriation	The action of taking something for one’s own use, typically without the owner’s permission.
