Fact 1: We are born to be immoral.

The belief that we are born evil has been with us since the beginning of human recorded history. It started with Adam and Eve and the taking of the forbidden fruit and original sin.

In most cultures, young children are taught to curb their natural urges from bowel control to sexual impulses. They are taught to not be violent or selfish, and they are taught to be honest and to abide by rules. It appears that our children are born to behave in immoral ways, and it is our responsibility to nurture that out of them.
