For Men: Tips for Supervising Women

In Chapter Nine we shared with women a tool for supervision that included tips for supervising male employees. If you are a man who supervises or manages women, you are in a mentoring position with the other gender. In two cases in particular, you as a man may find yourself needing to pay close attention to what you’ve learned about gender intelligence:
• During times of stress in an employee’s or colleague’s workday, when the supervisor is called on to help process or problem-solve
• At performance review time
