The objective of this text is to present an academic leadership model to current or future department chairs, deans, or vice presidents of academic affairs for the purpose of helping them define and achieve measurable success in their respective units. Through the use of this model, leaders will be able to develop a continuous performance improvement system for their academic department or college, or for the entire division of academic affairs of a university.
