Jennifer Corriero and Michael Furdyk are co-founders of TakingITGlobal, the world's largest online community for youths and social action. Since its inception in 1999, TakingITGlobal (takingitglobal.org) has grown to more than 160,000 members across two hundred countries. The Web site receives more than 1.4 million hits per day and has leveraged technology to connect youths globally and help them get involved in projects to better their local and global communities. The organization's partners include the United Nations and major corporations interested in helping young people become more directly involved in the changes affecting the planet.
