How many times have you trusted a feeling that has no logical explanation? We call that intuition or gut feeling. When used under certain conditions, intuition is a powerful tool in a leader’s arsenal. All of us experience situations where our guts tell us what to do. Many leaders acknowledge they rely on intuition occasionally in decision-making. Even skeptics agree that in some cases, you must go with your intuition. In getting help from experts and trusting their intuition, leaders need to be convinced of their domain knowledge. The chapter suggests guidelines for using intuition.
