The fifth collaboration factor is a champion for the initiative, someone with credibility and clout who is totally committed to the project and makes it a very high priority.
Of the several dozen collaboration projects I’ve studied, I can’t think of one that succeeded without a passionate champion. Champions often become obsessed with their project; they go to sleep worrying about it and get up each day totally focused on it.
