Your Own Tale

Once upon a time …

In the story I’ve used throughout this book, it all just happened to fall into place: the boy, his brothers, the quest, his supporters, the tests of his leader attributes. That’s the nature of fairy tales: they are freed from the constraints of reality, so that they can show us the perfect example as a model.

We, however, have to create our own story from the materials that reality presents to us. It’s more like a scavenger hunt than a fairy tale. Given that, I thought it would be useful to give you a little guidance here for pulling it all together to make a practical simple plan for your development as a followable leader.
