    We can’t control systems or figure them out. But we can dance with them!1

Those who claim, “we have no system” are mistaken; there is always a system. But it might be unintentional. Organizations “Macgyver”2 makeshift systems with administrative duct tape and cardboard committees until a more intentional system arrives. We default to “what works” until we find “what’s right.” Our systems, no matter how intentional or “MacGyvered,” contain artifacts that can be studied.
