The term “technology” refers to any tool, whether physical, mental, rhetorical, or digital, which a person uses to reach a certain goal. It is an integral piece in our journey of empowerment and efforts to transform a culture. In his book The 4 Stages of Psychological Safety, Timothy Clark segments the stages of organizational change into three stages: cultural, behavioral, and technical.1 In our language, it contributes to the success of a system, the development of a person, and the sustainability of a process.
