Chapter 4The Project Board

The project board is the communication hub of the project. Ours is a several-meter-long whiteboard showing all key project features flowing through the pipeline from requirements, development, and system test, all the way into production.

If you are into Kanban, you’ll recognize this as a Kanban system, which means that we track the flow of value from idea to production and that we limit the amount of work in progress at each step of the process. For more on Kanban, see ​Kanban in a Nutshell​.
