Flow and Pull vs. Push and Batch; Balance
The words flow, pull, push, batch, and balance all have something in common. They are descriptions of the characteristics of a system. In this chapter, we’ll illustrate various operating models, discuss the characteristics we observe in them, and talk to the effects that are associated with these characteristics.
