Conventions used

There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.

CodeInText: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: "Scroll down to the draw method and add the following code beneath the identified line."

A block of code is set as follows:

void main() {   float t = length(a_Position)/u_FurthestPoint;   v_Color = vec4(t, 1.0-t,t,1.0);   gl_Position = u_ModelViewProjection * vec4(a_Position.xyz, 1.0);   gl_PointSize = u_PointSize;}

When we wish to draw your attention to a particular part of a code block, the relevant lines or items are set in bold:

uniform mat4 u_ModelViewProjection;uniform vec4 u_Color; ...
