Enabling the replication

With the infrastructure prepared, you are ready to trigger the replication. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Step 1: Replication Application.
  2. You will be prompted to configure the source and the source location, Hyper-V Site:
  1. Then, you will need to specify the settings for the machines that will run on Azure after the failover, as shown in the following screenshot:
  1. Then, you can select the VMs you want to replicate:
  1. After that, you can specify some configuration for the VM, such as OS type, ...
