Creating an Azure VNet

To create an Azure VNet, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Azure portal, and search for virtual networks; you will find two options, as follows:
    • Virtual networks: This is an Azure Resource Manager based service. This is the option that will be selected.
    • Virtual networks (classic): This is an Azure Service Manager based service:

  1. Click on Virtual networks, and a new blade will pop up, where you can check the virtual networks that you have (if any) or create a new one. To create a new one, click on Add, as shown in the following screenshot:
