Chapter 2. Working with Survey
This chapter describes the Survey functionality in Civil 3D®. You can work directly with total station and GPS observation data to automatically create pre-engineering base plans and existing ground surface models. You can also edit field data to adjust control coordinates, backsight angles, prism heights and any other type of observed data. You use the import Survey Data wizard to streamline the process for working with survey data.
