Viewing environment information

The info command or i, can be used to view the state of our program and the debugging environment itself. It is used with one of the following argument options to view corresponding information. Its usage syntax is as follows :

info <argument name> 

Or we can also use the following abbreviated form:

i <argument name> 

The following is list of argument options which can be used with the info command to display different information while debugging:

  • info break: List all currently set breakpoints
  • info display: List all items in an automatic display list
  • info frame: Give a description of the selected stack frame
  • info args: List arguments of the selected frame
  • info functions: List all functions' definitions, including ...
