This chapter catalogs some human-centered design tools that build on the concepts and processes introduced in Chapter 3, Learning Engineering is Human-Centered.

The goal of human-centered design is to understand the interactions among people and the other elements of a system and then apply theory, principles, and data to support human well-being and overall system performance.
