Chapter 5. Buttons and Toolbars

When dealing with buttons we will definitely need a way to arrange them whether we use them in a window or panel. Using a toolbar is a great way to add our buttons to the top or bottom of our panel; we can also use groups or menus. The Ext provides us with a lot of flexibility to create beautiful interfaces.

Once we have our UI ready we can add actions to our widgets using callbacks and events to process the user interaction. In this chapter we are going to learn about the observable pattern used by the Ext components and widgets. We'll also learn how to define buttons and handlers to execute actions when the user clicks on them.
