Summary

In this chapter we learned about events and how we can add, fire, and listen to events. We also learned about buttons, menus, and toolbars. At the end we worked in the main layout of our application, but we didn't listen to our events. At this point we could use the addListener or on methods to add some actions when the buttons and options are clicked, but in the next chapters we are going to learn about how to listen for events in a more convenient way.
