Columns renderers

The column renderers are a great feature to customize behavior and rendering of the cells in the grid panel. A renderer is tied to a particular column, where we can customize the behavior or the styles of a cell. The renderers are methods that are called for each cell of the column with the following arguments:

  • Value: The data value for the current cell.
  • Metadata: A collection of metadata of the current cell, typically used to modify the styles of the cell or row.
  • Record: The record of the current row.
  • Row index: The index of the current row.
  • Column index: The index of the current column.
  • Store: The store of our grid.
  • View: The current grid view, so we can modify it or refresh it.
