Summary

In this chapter, you learned about WebIDE, how to install Firefox OS Simulator in WebIDE, using Firefox OS and installing applications in it, and creating a skeleton application using WebIDE. You then learned how to use developer tools for applications that run in the simulator, browsing other preinstalled runtime applications present in Firefox OS. Finally, you learned about removing a project from WebIDE and uninstalling an application from the operating system.

In the next chapter, you will study packaged and hosted Firefox OS applications, the security levels of applications and application manifest files. You will then apply your acquired knowledge of Firefox OS applications to build an application called Clickr.
