Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to design layouts for applications, some basic designing principles that should be kept in mind when designing an application's UI, avoiding some really common UI blunders, and about Gaia Building Blocks. You then applied Gaia Building Blocks to an application, and then finally used Firefox's responsive design view to test an application's responsiveness.

In the next chapter, you will study the WebAPIs and learn how to use them. You will also develop a photo-editing and sharing application making use of different Web APIs, which will help you to apply the knowledge that you have acquired so far.
