20. Sharing with Others

We live in a connected society where sharing tidbits of your life is as easy as tapping a button. Email, texting, Facebook, and Twitter have all become common aspects of modern life, and for this reason many iPad apps offer some sort of sharing feature to its users. There are two main reasons for this:

1. Users want to share your app’s content with family and friends.

2. Sharing is easy to implement in iOS apps.

PhotoWheel is no different. Users will want to share their favorite photos with others, and because adding sharing support is so simple, it would be a disservice to PhotoWheel users if we didn’t include the feature. That is the focus of this chapter: to show you how to share content from your iPad app.
