12. iPad Development

The iPad represents a new user interface paradigm in contrast to the smaller screens of the iPod Touch and iPhone. However, because it runs iOS, the same classes and skills are applicable to iPad development as on other iOS devices. Developing for the iPad ranges from the unmodified use of existing iPhone applications, to entirely retargeted user interfaces built specifically for the iPad.
