Menu items

Menu items are basically classes that are used to start forms, reports, and classes. They can be used as visual components in forms as buttons or in menus as links.

There are three types of menu items:

  • Display: This is used to start forms
  • Output: This is used to start reports
  • Action: This is used to start classes that have a main method

Creating a menu item

The easiest way to create a menu item is to drag a form into the Display node, a report into the output node, or a class into the actions node under menu items in the AOT.

After the drag-and-drop operation, you have to add a label to the menu item.
