Writing a book was very different than I had imagined it. I could never have made it through without the people who have influenced me, the people who supported me, and the people who actively helped me get this book together.
First and foremost, I thank my wife, Nancy, and my children, Zachary and Alyssa. There were many days and many evenings when they were patient and understanding when Daddy couldn’t be there with them. My wife made the whole process of writing as easy as it could be by making sure all the duties I was neglecting were taken care of without a hassle. This could not have been more meaningful or important to me, and I am grateful to all of them.
