Summary

We've come a long way! We had a lot of ground to cover because scripting is the core of ShiVa, but we made it. We went over the basics of Stonescript and the Lua syntax. Next, we looked at how to access the API documentation and how to get help finding the functions that we need. We also added scripting to our game to allow user input and make the camera useful. Finally, we added the tunnel to our game so that we had something to fly through. As I mentioned before, we have the basic infrastructure of our game now! The rest of the book we will be adding effects and other visuals to make the game more fun and challenging. Let's start by diving into the physics engine.
