This chapter described the different kinds of reports you can author with Report Builder 3.0 such as parameterized reports, free form list reports, drill-down and drill-through reports, subreports, and so on. It also provides hands-on examples of getting data from SQL Server and XML data documents. Many of the interactive features such as document maps, interactive sort, and alternate row highlighting are also described and included in the exercises. There are also hands-on exercises for the new gauges/gadgets such as maps, sparklines, data bars, and indicators. Creating report parts and reusing report part items are also described.
