In Chapter 2, SQL Server Reporting Services 2012 Projects with Visual Studio 2012, we have seen the use of ReportViewer controls—one for the Web and the other for the desktop implemented to display reports that were processed locally as well as remotely on the Report Server. However, we just made use of the graphic user interface of the ReportViewer. In the Hands-on exercise 8.3 – using URL access and ReportViewer controls with web applications section, we will write the code to one of them.
