Putting It All Together
When first writing this part of this chapter, I thought that we had already covered everything needed to build a real application program that would allow the user to create, update, and find items in the database with reasonable ease and convenience. The main program for my first attempt at this was called hmtst7.cc. When Susan tried it out and then read the code, it had quite an effect on her, as indicated in this letter she wrote to her sister.
