HOW IT WORKS
A common problem with this model is the Bolt. Due
to the alignment of the cocking handle and the part
of the Bolt that the rubber bands are attached to,
it’s sometimes easier to cock this gun by using your
index nger and thumb to rmly grip the cocking
handle, instead of just ripping the Bolt back with
a hooked nger like some sort of special forces
operative. Remember we have the structural rigid-
ity of LEGO bricks to consider here! This alternative
cocking method allows you to make sure the handle
piece doesn’t bend asyou pull itback.
I also have to mention the Stock. It really is strong
enough to take the entire force of the rubber bands
when you’re cocking the gun. This means you can
use your left hand on the Fore Grip to steady the
gun and let your shoulder provide the bracing force
needed to prevent the entire gun from moving back
when you cock it.
FIRING MECHANISM
1
To begin loading the Magazine, insert it
into the gun and hook it over the Maga-
zine Ramp.
2
Swivel the Magazine in, allowing the
magazine release to lock it in place. The
Magazine is now loaded.

Begin pulling the Bolt backward, which brings
the Hammer with it and stretches the rubber
bands. As the Hammer passes over the Maga-
zine, its sloped bottom gently presses against
the bricks in the Magazine.
4
Continue pulling the Bolt backward. As
the Hammer clears the Magazine, the
bricksspring up again. In order to keep
moving backward, the Hammer depresses
part of the trigger mechanism.
5
Once the Bolt is pulled all the way back, the
Hammer is locked behind the Trigger, which
has also returned to its original position.

Release the Bolt. The rubber band it’s
attached to pulls it back to its original posi-
tion, but the Hammer is leftbehind.
7
Pulling the Trigger allows the Hammer to
start moving forward.
8
As the Hammer passes over the Magazine, it
picks up the top brick, pushing it up and out.

9
The Hammer continues to move for-
ward, and the brick is now out of the
Magazine and entirely in the barrel. The
remaining bricks in the Magazine spring
upward to take its place.
10
When the Hammer reaches the Bolt, it
comes to a stop, but the brick is free to
continue down the barrel and out the
end. Pow!
