From a train engine to a moving bridge to a gas station and even a crane, the builds in this chapter are some of my all-time favorites. Some are grand in stature and many have moving parts, but all offer loads of problem-solving opportunities to encourage your kids to use their imaginations and figure out how things work. With pulleys and gears, several of the builds in this chapter will also introduce your kids to some basic LEGO Technic bricks, including gear wheels, axles, and wedge belt wheels.
