Your vision subconsciously influences what you see and what you choose to expose in your photographs, yet it might be difficult to define and articulate what makes your subject matter selections and the way in which you portray life’s moments unique to you. In spite of the fact that documentary photography is focused on capturing an external view of our subjects, stories, and settings, I suggest to you that it’s largely an introspective act. For me, photography is less about technology and technique and more about the magical concoction that combines the thoughts in my head with the feelings in my heart, inspiring me to focus and click.
