Analyzing the portal_normal.vm file

The portal_normal.vm file is the most important Velocity template file in a theme. It calls the other Velocity template files in the same folder. After it is interpreted, a complete HTML file is generated and ready to be served to the browser. This portal_normal.vm file is called for almost every Liferay Portal page that is rendered.
