Web content for interoperability

While we can introduce data within the Liferay Portal into the web content, we can also display data that we retrieve from other websites. This is often done by calling a URL to the other website. The returned data can be in various formats, among which the EXtensible Markup Language (XML) and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) formats are the most common.
