Before playing with roles, we need to create roles. 'Palm Tree Publications' needs roles for users to handle the Message Board portlet in their page. Let us name these roles as MB Topic Admin and MB Category Admin.
First of all, we need to create a role called MB Topic Admin. Let's do that now:
- Click on Roles under the Portal category of Control Panel.
- Click on the Add button.
- Enter a value MB Topic Admin in the Name input field, as well as that of the Title input field and the Description input field.
- Select a type with values: Regular, Organization, and Community.
- Click on the Save button if you are ready.
