acting on the ball causes it to roll up its bore and close
the valve. This seals off the outlet to the rear brakes so
that again any further increase
in
line pressure will
be transmitted
to
the front brakes only. The inertia
conscious valve also provides automatic correction of
braking ratio on down or up gradients.
